Job summary

The Annoying Recruiter is recruiting for a Building Regulations consultancy role where you can apply your architectural background and HRB experience. You will handle Gateway 2 and 3 applications, liaise with clients and design teams, and ensure compliance with Building Regulations.

What you'll be doing

• BR Principal Designer duties on Non-HRBS & HRBs: Gateway 2 and 3 applications, BSR liaison and compliance direction for clients and design teams.
• Reviewing designs, details and specifications against the regulations.
• Advising clients directly. They come to you for the answer.

What you'll need

• HRB experience since the BSA came in. You'll have taken a scheme through Gateway 2, or been hands‑on in one that got there. Pre‑Act HRB work alone won't get you through.
• An architectural background with working knowledge of the Building Regulations.
• The temperament for consultancy. Client facing, organised, comfortable giving a straight answer.
