Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Écrire, éditer et coordonner des soumissions de bid de haute qualité.
• Collaborer avec les architectes et les directeurs pour rassembler le contenu technique.
• Maintenir une bibliothèque de réponses standards, CV, et études de cas.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bid Writer to join an architectural practice. You will be responsible for creating compelling, tailored submissions for healthcare and sports facilities. Working closely with architects, directors, and the marketing team, you will play a key role in winning new work and showcasing the studio’s design excellence. This is a busy role which has the support of an extensive database with lots of interface work. You will report directly to the director and have support from the marketing team. Most bids within the role are front-end with more detail needed within the job section.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and coordinate high-quality bid submissions
• Collaborate with architects and directors to gather technical content and project information
• Ensure all submissions are compliant with client requirements and deadlines
• Maintain and update a library of standard responses, CVs, and case studies
• Research clients, competitors, and procurement frameworks to inform bid strategy
• Support the marketing team with award entries, capability statements, and presentations

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in bid writing, preferably within an architecture practice
• Excellent written English and ability to tailor content to different audiences
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign
• Understanding of architectural terminology and RIBA work stages
• 3 years' experience needed
• No visa sponsorship

Desirable:

• Familiarity with healthcare and sports leisure tenders
• Experience using CRM or bid management tools
• Graphic/layout skills for visually engaging submissions
