Job summary

Aujan Interiors in Liverpool is seeking an Architectural Assistant to join their architectural team. The role involves producing high-quality designs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting all stages of project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in architecture (RIBA Part 1 minimum), experience with REVIT and BIM, and a solid grasp of industry standards. The position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week with a starting salary of £25,000 annually.

We're looking for an Architectural Assistant to join our Architectural team based in Liverpool.

Location: Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary: Starting form £25,000 per annum

As an Architectural Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality design work across a range of sectors, supporting projects from concept through to construction. Working closely with experienced professionals, you'll gain exposure to real-world project delivery while developing your technical and design skills in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

• Qualified with an Architecture Degree (RIBA Part 1 minimum / Part 2 preferred)
• Experienced using REVIT and BIM in a design environment

• Interested in sectors such as education, MMC/off-site, sustainability or conservation

What will you be responsible for?

As an Architectural Assistant, you'll support the delivery of schemes within the Kier Design team, including:

• Supporting senior team members across all stages of design and construction
• Producing concept and detailed design drawings using CAD/BIM
• Contributing to technical coordination and project delivery
• Ensuring designs meet budget, programme and compliance requirements
• Participating in design risk assessments and project planning
• Supporting bids and work-winning activities where required
