Placements24 is seeking an experienced Architect to join a dynamic practice in East London. You will contribute to urban regeneration and mixed-use developments, from concept through to development coordination, working with senior architects and consultants.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised architecture degree, is SACAP-registered, has 4+ years post-qualification experience, and is proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree.
• Professional SACAP registration.
• Minimum 4 years of post-graduate architectural experience.
• Experience with mixed-use developments or urban regeneration is desirable.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong design and visualization skills.
• Good understanding of building codes and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs for urban regeneration and mixed-use projects.
• Prepare design concepts, sketches, renderings, and detailed drawings.
• Collaborate with senior architects, project managers, and consultants.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, building regulations, and sustainability principles.
• Research and select appropriate materials and building systems.
• Participate in client meetings and design review sessions.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
