A leading specialist architectural practice based in the East Midlands is offering an exciting opportunity for an Architect or Architectural Technologist to join its growing team. The practice focuses on delivering bespoke residential projects for clients with life-changing injuries or disabilities, resulting from personal injury or clinical negligence. With projects spanning the UK and ranging up to £2 million, the team is recognised for its compassionate, problem-solving approach and commitment to improving lives through accessible, thoughtful design. Daily Duties:

Lead architectural projects from initial concept through to completion and handoverDesign and detail bespoke residential adaptations and new builds with a focus on accessibilityCollaborate with clients, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholdersTravel nationally to attend site visits, meetings, and inspectionsProduce accurate technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and NBSProvide input on planning applications and building regulations complianceSupport contract administration duties as neededWork both independently and within a collaborative team environment

Ideal Candidate:

A qualified Architect or experienced Architectural TechnologistStrong design skills with an eye for detail and creative problem-solving abilitiesPractical experience in residential design and constructionIn-depth knowledge of Building Regulations and Accessible Design principlesProficient in AutoCAD; NBS specification experience is desirableExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise confidently with diverse stakeholdersAbility to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience with disability-focused design is advantageous but not essentialMust hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel nationallyWillingness to undergo a DBS check
