Job description

A highly respected architecture and design studio in Central London is looking for an Architect or Architectural Technologist to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with up to 5 years' post-qualification experience who is looking to develop their career on large-scale, technically complex projects within one of the industry's fastest-growing sectors.

Working alongside a highly experienced team, you'll gain exposure to cutting-edge technology, mission-critical infrastructure and large-scale commercial developments. While previous Data Centre experience would be highly advantageous, the practice is equally keen to speak with strong Revit users from other sectors who are looking to develop specialist expertise in this growing market. This is the ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, coordinated project delivery and working on projects that demand the highest levels of precision, collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of large-scale Data Centre, technology and commercial projects through multiple RIBA stages.
  • Develop and coordinate detailed drawing packages, technical information and BIM models using Revit.
  • Work closely with senior team members, consultants and specialist contractors throughout project delivery.
  • Assist with project coordination, ensuring information is accurately managed and delivered to programme.
  • Contribute to technical design development and resolve coordination challenges across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support design reviews, quality assurance processes and project delivery strategies.
  • Attend project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop expertise in highly technical building typologies and industry-leading delivery standards.
  • Play an active role within a collaborative and knowledge-sharing studio environment.

Key Requirements

  • Architect or Architectural Technologist with up to 5 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Experience delivering projects within a UK architecture practice.
  • Strong technical and construction knowledge.
  • Experience producing coordinated drawing packages and technical information.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Organised, proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Data Centre experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
  • Interest in technical architecture, technology-led projects and complex building types.
  • Competitive salary dependent on experience.
  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
  • Annual discretionary bonus.
  • Excellent mentoring and professional development opportunities.
  • Exposure to some of the UK's most technically advanced projects.
  • Clear career progression pathways.
  • Regular CPDs, technical training and industry development programmes.
  • Supportive and collaborative studio culture.
  • Modern Central London office location.
  • Long-term opportunities within a growing specialist sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Architect or Architectural Technologist looking to develop specialist expertise within one of the most resilient and rapidly expanding areas of the construction industry. You'll work alongside experienced professionals on complex, high-profile projects, gain exceptional technical experience and benefit from clear progression opportunities within a practice that genuinely invests in its people. For candidates looking to strengthen their Revit skills, broaden their technical knowledge and accelerate their career, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
