Tinsdale Architects Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking an Architect or Architectural Designer on a permanent, part-time basis to join a small team and influence the practice's development.

You will co-run residential and community projects from brief to completion, manage design submissions, produce drawings and 3D visuals, and guide clients through approvals.

The role offers space to grow within the practice, with involvement in management, social media and collaborative processes.

Qualifikationen

• Co-running residential projects and community projects from initial brief and concept design through to completion
• Designing, preparing and managing planning applications and building warrant submissions, liaising with local authorities, consultants and contractors
• Preparing technical delivery information and specification for construction
• Producing drawings, 3D models and visualisations for clients and statutory approvals
• Working directly with clients to understand their needs and guide them through the design and approvals process
• Coordinating and managing Design Teams
• Supporting community and rural housing projects, including engagement with community groups and collaborators
• Contributing to and supporting practice management, social media and sharing ideas on how the practice runs and grows
• Extra points for Passive House Certified Designer accreditation and active use of PHPP and designPH

We're looking for an Architect or Architectural Designer to join us on a permanent, part-time basis. This is a genuinely hands-on role in a small team with an opportunity to help shape how the practice develops over the coming years.
