Architect (1-3yr PQE)

We are a small but busy chartered practice located in North Hampshire with our offices within 2-mins walk of train links into London Waterloo and the South-West.

Following receipt of successful planning approval of a mixed use scheme and with new projects coming forwards, we are looking for that key member of staff to be part of our practice growth.

We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Architect with 1-3yr post qualification experience with some job running experience and good construction knowledge for our Farnborough office.

Role and Responsibilities

The Applicant should have good eye for design & communication skills, be technically competent and a hands on Architect, consistently delivering to a high standard while dedicated to meeting deadlines. You should be capable and confident to work across all RIBA Work Stages and liaise with the design team while working with autonomy and clear vision.

A candidate applying for the position should meet the following requirements:

·ARB registered

·1-3Years post qualification experience based within the UK.

·A highly motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, capable of take leads from the Project Architect and liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors.

·A passionate and enthusiastic about architecture and design.

·A hands on, proactive and savvy individual being able to work independently and with minimal supervision to manage risks, cost control and deadlines.

·To be confident to liaise and meet with the design team and other design consultants.

·An ability to work on several projects simultaneously.

·Be responsible for the preparation and coordination of detailed design and production information including drawings and documents for tender packages and construction drawings.

·Monitor quality and coordination of drawing information ensuring project delivery in line with programme.

·Ensure compliance with office quality standards.

Skills and Software Required

(Listed software is essential, applicants without these skills will not be considered):

·Autodesk Revit (must have solid working experience essential)

·Autodesk AutoCAD

·Adobe Photoshop

·Adobe In-design

·Microsoft Word

·Microsoft Excel

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate experience of having been involved in projects through all RIBA work stages, have a concrete knowledge of UK Building Regulations, and an ability to maintaining design intent and quality through construction detailing.
