Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Glasgow seeks a qualified Architect to join a growing team and contribute to a diverse portfolio across national and international networks. You will develop designs, produce detailed drawings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Education, Commercial, Energy, and Infrastructure sectors.

The role emphasizes strong design, technical standards, and participation in client meetings, with opportunities for mentoring and career progression in a hybrid Glasgow studio.

Qualifications

  • Recognised RIBA Part 3 qualification and eligibility to work as an Architect in the UK.
  • Experience in UK architectural practice preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and develop architectural designs, concept proposals, detailed drawings, and presentation materials.
  • Deliver high-quality project work across sectors and scales.
  • Prepare and coordinate 2D and 3D design information using industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Support projects through all design and delivery stages.
  • Ensure work is delivered on time and to project requirements.
  • Contribute creative design solutions and maintain high technical standards.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.

Your role
  • Produce and develop architectural designs, concept proposals, detailed drawings, and presentation materials.
  • Deliver high-quality project work across a range of sectors and project scales.
  • Prepare and coordinate 2D and 3D design information using industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Support projects through all stages of the design and delivery process.
  • Ensure work is delivered accurately, on time, and within project requirements.
  • Contribute creative and innovative design solutions to meet client and project objectives.
  • Maintain high technical and design standards across all project outputs.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews as required.
  • Contribute positively to the collaborative culture and continued success of the Glasgow studio.
About you
  • Recognised RIBA Part 3 qualification and eligibility to work as an Architect in the UK.
  • Relevant experience working within a UK architectural practice.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong design, visualisation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering projects across a range of sectors and project scales.
  • Good understanding of the UK architectural design and delivery process.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach with a strong desire to learn, develop, and contribute to project success.
