Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a qualified Architect to join their Dover team. The role involves delivering education, healthcare and commercial projects from inception through to completion, with active involvement in all RIBA stages.

ARB registration and a UK experience post-Part 3 are essential, as is proficiency with Revit and knowledge of UK building regulations. The position is based in Dover and requires commuting within the area.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Revit and familiar with UK building regulations.
• Strong design, communication and organisational skills.
• Willing to live within a commutable distance to Dover.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education, healthcare, and commercial projects from inception to completion.
• Produce detailed project information for all RIBA stages.
• Work with the design team on day-to-day project information.
• Liaise with main contractors and sub-contractors.
• Attend design team meetings and site visits.

Duties for the role of Architect:

• Deliver education, healthcare, and commercial projects from inception through to completion
• Produce detailed project information for all RIBA stages
• Work alongside the design team on day-to-day project information
• Liaise with main contractors and sub-contractor teams
• Attend design team meetings and site visits

Requirements for the role of Architect:

• ARB registered
• Relevant post RIBA Part 3 qualification experience as an Architect within a UK practice
• Proficient with Revit
• Experience managing projects within the commercial, education, or healthcare sectors
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations
• Strong conceptual and design skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Dover area.
