Job summary

Lawray Architects, an award-winning chartered practice in Cardiff, seeks an experienced Architect with 3+ years PQE. Based in our central studio, you’ll lead projects across education, residential, commercial, bluelight and industrial sectors.

You’ll manage the full construction lifecycle, applying your design excellence and technical skills, with proficiency in Revit. This role offers a collaborative studio environment, career development opportunities, and the chance to deliver impactful

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-qualification experience including leading projects.
• Exceptional design skills with thorough knowledge of technical and construction information.
• Proficient in using Revit.
• Experience delivering architectural projects under traditional and design & build procurement routes.
• Strong client focus and commercial awareness with ability to build relationships.
• Collaborative team player with motivation, influencing and delegation skills.
• Experience across the RIBA Plan of Work stages from inception to contract administration.
• Solid understanding of contracts, building codes, and compliance.

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 3+ years’ post qualification experience. Based in our vibrant, modern studio in central Cardiff, you’ll be part of a strong team dedicated to delivering ambitious and diverse projects.

You’ll take a leading role in managing the full construction lifecycle, contributing to impactful projects across a variety of sectors. From managing personnel to applying your exceptional technical skills, this is a chance to lead with impact and innovation.

• 3+ years’ post qualification experience including leading projects.
• Exceptional design skills with a thorough knowledge of technical and construction information.
• Proficient in using Revit.
• Experience in delivering architectural projects under traditional and design & build procurement routes.
• Client focus & commercial awareness with experience of establishing and consolidating relationships to identify and realise business opportunities.
• Collaborative team player with good motivation, influencing, people management and delegation skills.
• Experience of all RIBA Plan of Work stages from inception to traditional contract administration (desirable).
• Solid understanding of legal frameworks concerning contracts, regulations, building codes, and compliance.
