Job summary

iO Associates is seeking an ARB-registered Architect in Cambridgeshire to join an established practice. This role develops into a confident Project Architect / job runner with mentoring and increasing responsibility on a diverse portfolio.

You'll work from concept through to completion on rural, commercial, community and leisure schemes, with site visits and client liaison, while maintaining a collaborative studio environment.

Qualifications

• ARB registration is essential.
• Around 1–3 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Experience attending site meetings and working through construction stages.
• Experience running smaller projects or assisting a Project Architect.
• Confident communication with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Full driving licence and own car.

Responsibilities

• Work across projects from concept through to completion, starting with smaller schemes.
• Take greater responsibility over projects while being mentored on larger schemes.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and contractors throughout construction.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Project Architect | Cambridgeshire | Full-time | Office-based

An established architectural practice in South Cambridgeshire is looking for an ARB-registered Architect to join its growing team and develop into a confident Project Architect / job runner.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with around 1-3 years' post-qualification experience who has gained some project and site exposure and is ready to take on more responsibility.

The role

You’ll work across a varied portfolio including rural, commercial, community, sports and leisure projects. You’ll have the opportunity to work across projects from concept through to completion, initially taking greater responsibility for smaller schemes while being supported and mentored on larger projects.

We’re looking for

• ARB registration - essential
• Around 1-3 years' post-qualification experience
• Strong AutoCAD skills
• Some experience attending site meetings and working through construction stages
• Experience running smaller projects, or working alongside a Project Architect
• Confident communication skills with clients, consultants and contractors
• A personable, collaborative approach
• Full driving licence and own car
