Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Bolingbrook, IL, seeks an Arborist Crew Leader to guide a tree care crew, perform all arboriculture tasks safely and efficiently, and mentor teammates on performance and productivity. You will prune, cable and brace, rig, and removals while maintaining equipment.

The role includes client communication, training, and adherence to industry standards. We offer a safety-first culture, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, PTO, boot reimbursement, and paid training

Qualifications

• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all arboriculture tasks, including pruning, cabling/bracing, rigging, and removals (with proper equipment maintenance)
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager
• Ensuring crew members are trained for each designated job
• Ensuring all tree care work meets industry and company standards
• Communicating with clients and building relationships on site
