Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic Arborist to join our team on a major national utility vegetation management contract. You will work on site to deliver vegetation control safely and to a high standard.

Required: Arborist or Forestry qualification and experience in arboriculture, preferably utility arb or land-based. You will be a competent climber in a small team, with a strong emphasis on safety and time management.

Working Pattern

The team member will work Monday - Friday. Standard work hours will be 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. The team member may be expected to be flexible on the hours based on the requirements of the role, but overall, the hours will equate to 40 hours per week.

About The Role

• Will have an Arb or Forestry qualification.
• Will have previous experience in arboriculture or forestry, preferably utility arb or land-based industry.
• Will be a trained and competent climber.
• Be competent and confident in your role although high quality training is provided for the right person.
• Be comfortable working in a small team, you will need to be a problem solver, self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively, efficiently and have a professional and safe approach to work.
