Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial climbing experience.
• NPTC/LANTRA Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross Cutting certification.
• NPTC/LANTRA Felling & Processing Trees certification.
• NPTC/LANTRA Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue certification.
• NPTC/LANTRA Aerial Cutting with a Chainsaw certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good understanding of current industry best practice and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of arboricultural work including dismantling, pruning, crown reductions and sectional felling.
• Perform aerial inspections and respond to emergency call-outs.
• Work with grounds staff and fellow climbers using modern equipment and industry-leading techniques.
• Maintain safety and workmanship to high standards on all projects.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Climbing role based in Ormskirk and working all across the North West. Salary ranging from £32k - £39k per year, plus overtime and pension.

You’ll carry out all kinds of arboricultural work, including tree dismantling, pruning, crown reductions, sectional felling, aerial inspections and emergency call-outs. You’ll work alongside skilled grounds staff and fellow climbers, using modern equipment and industry-leading techniques, to the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

• Utility arboriculture experience

• CSCS card
• Experience on commercial and infrastructure contracts
