Job summary

BROWNS Trees in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced climbing arborist. The role covers domestic and commercial sites, from large removals to pruning and hedge work, with a focus on all aspects of tree surgery.

You will join a friendly family-run team, with opportunities for long-term progression, training, and a Christmas bonus. The position offers permanent, full-time employment, 28 days holiday, sick pay, PPE and a company uniform.

Qualifications

• Arborist experience required.
• CS30 Chainsaw maintenance & cross-cutting.
• CS31 Felling small trees up to 380mm.
• CS39 Aerial cutting with a chainsaw.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree removals, pruning and hedge trimming on domestic and commercial sites.
• Operate safely using climbing equipment and chainsaws.
• Work as part of a team with reliability and positive attitude.
• Contribute to all aspects of tree surgery, not just the big climbs.

Established in 1997, we're a family-run business looking for an experienced climbing arborist who takes pride in their work & wants a long-term role within a friendly business.

No two days are the same - We work across domestic & commercial sites, from large tree removals & site clearances to smaller tree pruning & hedge trimming. We value someone who enjoys ALL aspects of tree surgery, not just the big climbs!

What We're Looking For -

• Arb Experience - As a Tree Surgeon / Climbing Arborist
• Competent & Confident in Tree Climbing, Pruning & Removals
• Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-Cutting (CS30)
• Felling Small Trees, upto 380mm (CS31)
• Accessing a Tree
• Aerial Cutting with a Chainsaw (CS39)
• Full UK Driving License
• Reliable, hardworking & able to work well in a team. A positive attitude & willingness to get involved in all aspects of tree surgery.

We have a great group of lads, including some younger team members who are still developing their skills and experience. We'd love someone who is happy to share their knowledge & support less experienced colleagues.

Equally, if you're an experienced arborist who simply loves doing the job and wants to be part of a good team, that's absolutely fine too!

There's also the opportunity to progress further in your role or into other roles.
