Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an experienced Arboriculture Team Leader for the New Forest area. You will lead a team across domestic, commercial and public sector projects, coordinating pruning, dismantling, and other tree work with a strong emphasis on safety and client liaison.

Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is required, with 3+ years of arboricultural experience and a valid First Aid qualification.

Qualifications

• Proven arboricultural experience.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring a team.
• First Aid qualification.
• Climbing, aerial rescue, MEWP or trailer qualifications advantageous.
• Experience with health & safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise arboricultural teams on a daily basis.
• Plan and coordinate works safely and efficiently.
• Carry out pruning, dismantling, felling and other tree work.
• Complete site risk assessments and ensure health & safety compliance.
• Monitor work quality and maintain high industry standards.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Liaise professionally with clients and site stakeholders.
• Ensure equipment and machinery are correctly maintained and operated.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
