Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Arboricultural Consultant to lead complex commissions, manage budgets and timelines, and grow client relationships within a collaborative multidisciplinary team across the UK. You will shape technical approaches and mentor others while contributing to a growing national arboriculture and forestry offer.

Qualifications

• Substantial arboricultural consultancy experience with leading complex projects.
• Track record in major infrastructure, DCO/NSIP, EIA or public sector work.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Direct complex arboricultural commissions within budget and programme.
• Develop and review technical approaches for BS5837, EIA, DCO/NSIP deliverables.
• Support people managers with career development and training.
• Build and maintain client relationships to generate work and value.
• Drive QA, knowledge management and continuous improvement across the team.
