Job summary

Capel Manor College is seeking a practitioner to interview prospective apprentices, plan and conduct workplace visits, and ensure alignment with apprenticeship standards. The role includes delivering Level 2 Work-Based Training, creating engaging lessons, and assessing learners.

You will liaise with employers and tutors to support timely progress, provide feedback from assessments, and adapt to changing priorities while promoting high-quality, land-based education across sites.

Qualifications

• Passion for land-based learning and ability to inspire apprentices.
• Flexibility to adapt to employer requests and shifting priorities.
• Experience liaising with tutors to meet apprenticeship standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with prospective apprentices to determine suitable training pathways and identify organisational training needs.
• Plan, organise, and undertake regular visits to apprentices in their workplaces to review progress and address concerns.
• Deliver classroom teaching for a Level 2 Work-Based Qualification, including creating engaging activities, preparing lessons, providing feedback and marking assessments.
• Ensure employers comply with course requirements and health and safety standards during workplace visits.
• Provide feedback to work-based apprentices and employers from assessments and training plans and liaise with tutors to ensure timely success.
