Job summary

Arbtech is seeking an Arboricultural Surveyor for a fully remote role within the Arboriculture team. You will manage surveys, coordinate with clients, and perform BS5837 and tree risk assessments while travelling as needed across your area. A self-motivated, detail-oriented mindset and strong communication are essential to succeed in this consultancy position.

The role offers flexibility, remote work, and opportunities to grow within a multi-disciplinary team at Arbtech, part of the Celnor Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting basic tree surveys and data collection; aim to progress to consultant.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the area to undertake surveys and deliver reports on deadlines.
• Ability to manage workload and administrative tasks independently.

What you will do

Who you are

You will ideally be someone with experience in conducting basic tree surveys and data collection, looking to grow your knowledge and has the goal of progressing into a consultant role. They will need to be willing to travel regularly within their ‘area’ to undertake surveys, deliver reports within client deadlines, and manage their own workload/admin.

Position Requirements:

• Have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A self‑motivated attitude and a willingness to learn quickly

Desirable skills/experience:

• Level 3 Arb Qualification or higher
• LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection (PTI)
• Previous experience in tree surveying (tree risk and/or BS5837)
• Auto CAD
