Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an Arboricultural Consultant to cover the Evesham, Solihull and wider Midlands area. The role suits candidates from those starting in consultancy through to experienced consultants who can manage surveys, reports and client projects independently.

You will undertake tree surveys, BS5837 surveys, IAs/MWS, and site reports across residential, commercial and local authority work, with opportunities to develop client relationships and senior

Qualifications

• All applicants must hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Legal right to work in the UK or valid visa.
• Knowledge or practical experience within arboriculture.
• Understanding of tree health, condition, defects and risk.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tree surveys and inspections across a range of sites
• Undertake BS5837 tree surveys for planning and development projects
• Produce Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Arboricultural Method Statements
• Prepare Tree Protection Plans and tree constraints information
• Conduct tree condition and risk assessments
• Advise clients on tree management and development constraints
• Support applications relating to Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Areas
• Liaise with clients, developers, planning teams and local authorities
• Prepare clear and commercially focused arboricultural reports
• Organise and manage site visits and workload
• Develop client relationships and take on greater project responsibility as experience develops
