Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an Arboricultural Consultant to work across Cambridge, Bedfordshire, Luton and surrounding areas. The role covers tree surveying, planning consultancy and report writing, suitable for junior through to experienced arboricultural professionals.

A valid UK driving licence and the ability to work on-site across multiple sites are essential. The package includes a salary in the £30,000–£40,000 range DOE, with opportunities to advance and handle

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Legal right to work in the UK or visa.
• Full UK driving licence due to field-based nature.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tree surveys and inspections across a range of sites.
• Undertake BS5837 surveys for proposed development sites.
• Prepare tree constraints information to support planning and development proposals.
• Produce Arboricultural Impact Assessments.
• Prepare Arboricultural Method Statements and Tree Protection Plans.
• Undertake tree condition and tree risk assessments.
• Advise clients on Tree Preservation Orders and protected trees.
• Provide practical tree management recommendations.
• Liaise with developers, architects, planning consultants, local authorities and landowners.
• Produce clear, accurate technical reports and recommendations.
• Organise and manage site surveys and projects appropriate to your level of experience.
• Develop and maintain professional client relationships.
• For experienced Consultants, take greater ownership of projects from survey through to completion
