Role description: As an Arboriculturist, you will join our ecology team, which has over 20 years of experience in ecological and arboricultural surveys, assessments, and providing advice on masterplanning, mitigation, enhancement design, ecosystem services, and natural capital assessment.

As part of our Environmental team, your work could involve protected species, pollution, surface water and materials management, air quality, or noise, in some of the world’s busiest and most beautiful locations.

We aim to protect our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generations. We are addressing climate change, urbanization, biodiversity loss, and increasing events like floods and wildfires.

Role accountabilities:

• Conduct surveys and produce reports to improve quality of life sustainably.
• Undertake BS 5837 2012 Arboricultural surveys and produce related reports, AIAs, and AMSs.
• Occasionally conduct climbed surveys for bat roosting features.
• Provide advice on Arboricultural issues.
• Complete arboricultural projects and advise clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Suitable qualification (e.g., FdSc Arb, BSc, Technician’s Certificate in Arboriculture) and membership of relevant associations.
• Knowledge of BS 5837 2012 Tree Quality Surveys, impact assessments, and reports.
• Experience in tree condition surveys, reporting, and planning applications.
• Understanding of health and safety on site.
• Desired: LANTRA Tree Inspector, CS38 Rope & Harness, database management, bat roosting assessments.
