Qualifications

Your new role

Leadership and Management: Lead the arboricultural team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Project Management: Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of arboricultural projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored arboricultural solutions.

Technical Expertise: Conduct detailed tree inspections, surveys, and assessments, providing expert advice on tree health, preservation, and management.

Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive arboricultural reports, including impact assessments (AIA), method statements, and management plans.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, preparing tenders and promoting my client’s arboricultural services.

Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree/Diploma in Arboriculture, Forestry, or a related field is ideal.
  • Good experience in arboricultural consultancy.
  • Professional membership with the Arboricultural Association or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and client engagement skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in arboricultural software and tools including AutoCAD.
