Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an AR/Credit & Collections Analyst – Pricing Claims in Frimley, UK. The role sits in the Customer Financial Services department and focuses on reducing open deductions, validating claims quickly, and allocating customer invoices to the correct accruals in line with departmental KPIs.

The position requires fluent English, strong numeracy and analytical ability, and experience in accounts receivable.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills essential.
• Experience in an Order to Cash role would be advantageous.
• Proficient using Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely approval and processing of claims, invoices and deductions by customer.
• Conduct thorough investigation of price claims and discrepancies.
• Drive process improvements and Lean initiatives within AR/CS functions.
• Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate ledger postings.
• Manage incoming documentation and maintain/strengthen internal and external relationships.
• Provide timely analysis and recommendations on credit-related matters.
• Escalate disputes promptly and follow DoA guidelines.
• Comply with SOX requirements for AR processes.

AR/Credit & Collections Analyst – Pricing Claims

Location: Frimley, Surrey

Function: Accounts Receivable - Shared Service Centre

This role does not offer international relocation

This role is eligible to work from home 1 day a week

This role is to work within the Customer Financial Services department (AR Credit & collections) to improve SCJs financial performance by reducing open deductions, speeding up validation of claims and ensuring accurate allocation of customers’ invoices to the correct accrual; All in line with departmental KPIs targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure timely approval and processing of claims, Invoices and deductions by customer.
• Conduct thorough investigation of price claims
• Drive process changes as well as Efficiency & Effectiveness improvements
• Ensure customers account reconciliation are completed and accurate
• Manage incoming documentation
• Develop, maintain and improve relationships with internal and external customers
• Analysis, decisions and recommendations of customer’s credit related matters
• Timely escalation and resolution of disputes
• Follow established Delegation of Authority (DoA) matrix and guidelines
• Comply with Sarbanes & Oxley (SOX) requirements for Accounts Receivable processes
• Take active part in process improvements through Lean methodology approach and
• cross-functional problem-solving matters
• Perform Ad Hoc Accounts Receivable activities and Reporting
• Cover/backup for other CFS functions

Experience you’ll bring

• Must be fluent in spoken & written English and an EU language
• Ability to work to deadlines and have an attention to detail
• Strong numeracy & analytical skills
• Previous experience in an Order to Cash role would be an advantage
• Intermediate level in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Team player & collaborative approach
