Job summary

Level Zero Health is seeking a Research Associate to drive aptamer discovery and early-stage biosensor R&D. You will run SELEX campaigns for small-molecule targets, perform core wet-lab workflows, and combine experimental rigor with oligo design and bioinformatic analyses to validate top aptamer candidates.

The role reports to R&D/sensor design leadership and involves collaboration on defining future directions and contributes to translating science into real-world health tech solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with at least 2 years of industry wet-lab experience.
• Proficiency in molecular biology workflows including qPCR, gel electrophoresis, nucleic acid purification, and binding assays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SELEX experiments for small molecule targets to identify new aptamers.
• Perform oligo design and bioinformatic analyses to identify aptamer candidates.
• Validate aptamer binding using ITC, SPR, and fluorescence assays.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape future R&D directions.
