Job summary

Amazon Security is looking for an experienced Application Security Engineer to join our UK team. You’ll help prioritize and communicate security practices across a growing application landscape in cloud and devices, ensuring robust protection for customers.

Your role includes reviews, secure design, threat modeling, and developing scalable security processes with AI-driven tooling, partnering with internal teams to raise security standards and protect billions of interactions daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP.
• Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language.
• Experience applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques or equivalent.
• AI/LLM-based automation of security workflows.
