A rehabilitation services provider in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks an Approved Premises Manager to lead operations ensuring the safety and rehabilitation of high-risk individuals. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
On‑call rota required; may work outside normal hours.
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Approved Premises Manager who has a Diploma in Probation Studies or Level 3 Diploma in Probation Practice or equivalent or is a registered Social Worker (BA (hons), MA/MSc in Social Work) with strong knowledge of the Probation Service and wider Criminal Justice Sector.
The organisation operates two Independent Approved Premises in Newcastle, providing 46 beds and delivering enhanced supervision for high‑risk individuals through close partnership working, robust risk management and a strong focus on rehabilitation and community safety.
As an Approved Premises Manager you will oversee risk management for residents, ensuring safe, supportive and enabling environments that promote desistance and positive change. You will work closely with partner agencies to enhance public protection.
The organisation offers intensive support for those assessed as high risk and, as the Approved Premises Manager, you will lead practice quality, staff development and continuous improvement across the service.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check with the additional barred list check. All required checks will be undertaken as part of the pre‑employment process for any successful candidate.
