The approved Electrician will be required to carry out a wide range of electrical duties, including service, response, breakdown works, and new build installations, primarily in the commercial and industrial sectors, with a focus on hazardous areas, which may require staying away from home as needed.

More about the role:

• Work at various locations throughout the UK undertaking new electrical installation works.
• Carry out minor civil/construction duties such as clearing cable routes and making holes in walls to facilitate electrical installations.
• Test newly installed circuits and cabling, and record results.
• Complete test certification efficiently and submit for approval.
• Assist other Engineers as required.
• Ensure all equipment checks are undertaken before starting works.
• Manage the uplifting and offloading of materials in a safe and compliant manner, prioritizing health and safety.
• Ensure the security of all Company equipment.
• Work in accordance with health and safety regulations, including reading and signing RAMS documentation.
• Identify repair work required during inspections.
• Liaise with customers on-site regarding ongoing works and additional services.
• Complete all works paperwork and submit it promptly.
• Communicate with line managers and office staff about ongoing works and suggest improvements.
• Perform any other duties for which the electrician is qualified and capable.

About you:

• Possess a current valid driving license.
• Experience with completing RAMS documentation.
• Willing to undertake additional training to enhance service capabilities.
• C&G 2330 or equivalent qualification.
• NVQ Level 3.
• Test & Inspection certification.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
