Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrician to undertake all electrical installation, testing and inspection duties in line with current regulations and safety standards.

Role requires familiarity with electrical installation, testing, and compliance with HSE policy. IPAF and PASMA are preferred; a full UK driving licence may be required for site visits.

Qualifications

  • Qualified electrician with City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Wiring regs qualification (18th Edition) and up-to-date CSCS/Grade card.
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391) or equivalent.
  • IPAF and PASMA certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake all aspects of electrical installation, testing and inspection per current regs and standards.
  • Work safely and compliantly with Health & Safety legislation and OCS policy.

About The Role:
Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00 one hour unpaid for lunch

Key Responsibilities:
  • To undertake all aspects of electrical installation, testing and inspection in accordance with current regulations and building standards.
  • Working in a safe and efficient manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and OCS H&S policy.
Key Hiring Criteria:
  • Applicant must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Experience working as an Approved Electrician / Electrician within the Construction Industry post apprenticeship.
  • Be familiar with all aspects of electrical installation, testing and inspection.
  • IPAF & PASMA (preferred)
  • Full clean driving licence
Essential Qualifications:
  • A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as or equivalent to City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2
  • The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition)
  • Valid and in date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification
  • An Inspection & Testing qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
