Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is recruiting an Apprenticeship Skills Coordinator to support New College Durham's School of Advanced Manufacturing. The role focuses on Level 3 and Level 4 apprentices in Technical Construction and Civil Engineering, helping them progress and achieve qualifications.

You will coordinate evidence collection, reviews, and learner records, while mentoring and guiding apprentices and liaising with employers to foster strong partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience with apprenticeships or mentoring environments.
• Strong communication and relationships with learners and employers.
• Experience monitoring progress and maintaining records.
• Ability to organise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Competence with ICT and digital learning platforms.
• Level 2 English and Maths required; sector knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support apprentices with evidence collection on and off the job.
• Conduct progress reviews and monitor learner achievement against targets.
• Maintain accurate learner records, including e-portfolio systems and off-the-job training records.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, advice and guidance to apprentices.
• Work with employers to support apprentice development and positive relationships.
• Assist with planning/delivery of apprenticeship standards, Gateway prep and EPA.
• Assist with individual learning plans and action planning.
• Participate in employer engagement, recruitment activities and college events.
