Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking an Apprentice Vehicle Technician at BMW Hailsham. You will learn hands-on servicing, perform checks, and gain new qualifications while earning from day one.

You’ll work with a friendly team to follow brand guidelines, maintain records, and progress through your apprenticeship with support from our providers. This entry-level role offers growth and hands-on experience in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

Punctual and timekeeping essential.
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and customer focus.
Drive to exceed targets and learn new skills.
GCSEs in Maths, English and Science are required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Servicing vehicles and performing checks and maintenance per brand guidelines.
Identify, repair, and replace faulty components.
Liaise with Service Advisors regarding required repairs.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Learn and demonstrate tidiness and safety in the work bay.
Support academic progress through the apprenticeship provider.
