Job summary

Vertu BMW Sunderland is recruiting an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician to join the team. You will gain hands-on experience in maintenance and repair, with training leading to a Manufacturer-accredited Level 3 qualification in Automotive Repair.

The role requires enthusiasm for cars, teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail. Training blocks include weekly attendance at the manufacturer center, with overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English and one other subject at grade 4/C or above.
• Interest in motor industry and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on vehicles.
• Perform visual inspections on customer vehicles.
• Complete relevant documentation and support diagnostics with System Technicians.
• Represent the Vertu BMW Sunderland brand and deliver high-quality service.
