Group 1 Automotive is seeking an Apprentice Vehicle Technician at BMW Hailsham. You will learn hands-on servicing, perform checks, and gain new qualifications while earning from day one.

You’ll work with a friendly team to follow brand guidelines, maintain records, and progress through your apprenticeship with support from our providers. This entry-level role offers growth and hands-on experience in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Punctual and timekeeping essential.

• GCSEs in Maths, English and Science are required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Servicing vehicles and performing checks and maintenance per brand guidelines.

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Learn and demonstrate tidiness and safety in the work bay.
• Support academic progress through the apprenticeship provider.

What you'll do day to day

• Servicing our vehicles - you'll be carrying out checks and maintenance in accordance with brand guidelines. Identifying, repairing, and replacing components and parts that are faults.
• Liaising with our Service Advisors about required repairs or vehicle work.
• Maintaining repair and service records.
• Learn and demonstrate work bay and surrounding area tidiness.
• To always consider the customer impact on any activity with the vehicle, demonstrating our customer-centric approach.
• To satisfy the academic requirements of the apprenticeship - engage with our provider and ensure course progress.
