About the role
Porsche Centre Glasgow has an exciting opportunity available for an Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join their talented team.
As a Sytner Apprentice Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to the high standards of the Porsche brand. You will work in a busy Porsche workshop during your apprenticeship and have the opportunity to work on the latest cars, engines, and diagnostic equipment, ultimately leading to the ability to undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on vehicles once fully qualified.
Your apprenticeship training will take place over a 3-year period and will comprise classroom and workshop-based learning, including off-the-job training at the Porsche Academy. You will also receive support from a mentor who will oversee your work-based learning program.
Sytner Apprentice Technicians work a variety of flexible patterns, which can typically include weekends, to ensure we provide our customers with the highest levels of service.
About You
If you have a keen interest and enthusiasm for automotive vehicles and the automotive industry as a whole, we would like to hear from you.
No experience is needed for this role; however, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Ideally, you will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as follow instructions and work independently.
Applicants are required to have or be predicted to obtain GCSE Grade A*-C/9-4 or Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent) in the following subjects:
