Job summary

TUI Shop in Shrewsbury is offering a two-year Apprenticeship as a Travel Advisor. You will learn to sell holidays, cruises and UK breaks, providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role includes training on travel systems, a varied shift pattern and progression toward a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification with ongoing support from managers and a learning coach.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 9-4 or equivalent.
• Passion for travel and excellent customer service essential.
• Willing to commit to a 2-year Apprenticeship in Travel Consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to plan and book holidays, cruises and UK breaks.
• Answer questions and resolve issues in-store and online.
• Learn and apply product knowledge to provide accurate advice.

• If things don't go to plan, your colleague network will actively help you investigate and resolve any question or complaint
• As technology advances so does TUI, you'll receive support and training on a variety of systems empowering you to enhance your knowledge, skills and behaviours to confidently adapt your style to help answer questions whilst bringing memorable holidays to life for our customers
• You'll be given time within your working week to complete practical and written assignments via your online learning platform and with the support of your manager and a dedicated learning coach you'll be guided through your apprenticeship with the aim to achieve a Level 3 Travel Consultant qualification.
