Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd is hiring an Apprentice Rigger to join our Telecoms business, connecting people through fixed-line and wireless infrastructure. You’ll gain hands-on experience on towers and masts while developing safety and technical skills through our apprenticeship programme.

You’ll work with experienced riggers, start from day one on live projects, and progress through a nationally recognised L4 Cellular Network Field Engineer apprenticeship with support from IT Professionals.

Qualifications

GCSEs at 9-4/A*-C in English and Maths.
Good IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
Good organisation, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Hold a full UK driving licence.
Be aged 18+ and available to start full-time by Oct 2026.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced riggers with installation, maintenance, and repair of telecoms equipment on towers and masts.
Learn to climb towers and work at heights following safety regulations.
Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Prepare and organise tools and equipment; perform basic checks and maintenance.
Participate in daily safety briefings and keep a clean, safe work site.
