Job summary

Citygate Automotive Limited is seeking an Apprentice Technician to develop core technical skills through service and repair procedures while completing educational programmes and NVQ levels. You’ll contribute to the performance of the service department, supervised by an mentor technician.

Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn, teamwork, personal responsibility, and an interest in automotive engineering and EV technology. GCSE Maths and English at Level 4+ are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist the mentor with duties and learn hands-on tasks.
• Observe and complete assigned tasks to build knowledge.
• Learn health and safety rules and apply them.
• Carry out housekeeping and maintain equipment.
• Attend educational programmes and complete study work.
• Prepare reports and complete required documents.
• Attend reviews and assessments with the team.
• Support other team members as needed.
