Job summary

Leamington Primary and Nursery Academy is offering an Apprentice Teaching Assistant role to begin a career in education. You will work alongside the class teacher to support learning, deliver engaging activities, and help create a nurturing classroom environment. The apprenticeship lasts 18 months and leads to a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Your role includes supporting whole class and small group activities, and working with children with additional needs to help them thrive.

Qualifications

• Passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Able to follow teacher directions and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils during teacher-led activities and small-group sessions.
• Help create a positive, engaging classroom environment and assist with displays.
• Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing during learning and breaks.
• Support the class teacher and wider staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
