Job summary

Chalkwell Hall Junior School is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our team. You will support teaching staff, work with individuals or small groups, and help youngsters with social and academic development.

The role is term-time only and provides online learning during the apprenticeship. Training is delivered online, with a 16-month duration to complete the Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Qualifications

• Achieved GCSE grade C/4 or above in English & Maths.
• Able to communicate well, both written and verbally.
• Organised and able to work with multiple pupils.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual children or small groups under teacher guidance.
• Attend to pupils' personal needs and support social and health training.
• Assist with lesson preparation and supervision of activities.
