Job summary

Oasis Academy Don Valley is seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to support teaching staff in planning, preparing, and delivering lesson provision for learners. You will assist with resource creation, support pupils both in class and individually, and contribute to monitoring progress.

In this role you will work closely with teachers to ensure learning needs are met, while developing your own skills through professional development and career progression opportunities within the academy.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 GCSEs (C grade or above) including English and Maths.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to work with teaching staff.
• Empathetic and understanding to the needs of students.

Job overview

You'll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure all students' learning needs are being met.
