Job summary

Engage Education is recruiting for a Level 3 Classroom Support Apprenticeship based in Manchester. The programme runs 11 months full-time, with work from 08:30 to 15:30, five days a week, leading to a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and an HLTA option.

You will gain hands-on classroom experience supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in a SEN environment, with mentoring from both the school and Engage Education consultants.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group classroom support to pupils.

• Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Support pupils with their social, emotional and communication development.
• Provide additional support for children with SEN and additional needs, where required.
• Assist pupils with individual learning targets and support plans.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants and other members of the school team.

Engage Education is recruiting a staff member to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship based in one of our SEN Schools located in Tameside.

This is a dedicated 11-month apprenticeship programme. Working 5 days a week, 08:30 - 15:30, providing the opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting pupils across the primary age range while working towards a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and HLTA qualification.
