Job summary

Sanctuary Group is hiring an Apprentice – Surveying Technician Level 3 in Banbury. Starting salary £20,966.40, 40 hours/week, fixed-term for 2 years with 3 months EPA. You’ll train with our Property Services team gaining a Level 3 Technical Qualification, supported by Gloucester College and Cheltenham College.

You’ll work in the Oxfordshire/Cherwell area, learning surveying basics, property inspection, and health and safety while building a career in the sector.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs 4-9 with Maths and English required.
  • Interest in construction, surveying and property maintenance.
  • Good numerical and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Learn on the job within the Surveying team in Oxfordshire/Cherwell region.
  • Develop skills in property inspection, project support, health and safety, and customer service.

Apprentice – Surveying Technician Level 3

Fixed term contract for 2 years practical and 3 months EPA

Banbury

Starting salary year 1: £20,966.40

Are you looking for your next step or change in career? Our Apprenticeship programme gives you hands‑on experience, all whilst working towards a qualification in partnership with our Gloucester College training provider at Cheltenham College.

Over the course of the programme, you will work alongside and learn from experienced Surveyors within our Property Services team. You will receive high‑quality training leading to a Level 3 Technical Qualification, nationally recognised. All of this will be supported by the team around you, ensuring you get the most out of your apprenticeship!

What will you do?

You will work within the Oxfordshire/Cherwell area region, gaining hands‑on experience in surveying and technical services, while developing key skills in property inspection, project support, health and safety, and customer service to build a successful career in the industry.

What skills and abilities do I need to have?

On top of this, practical skills we are looking for are:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4-9 or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English
  • A strong interest in construction, surveying, and property maintenance
  • Good analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Hold or be working towards a full valid UK driving licence
