Job summary

Sanctuary Group is offering an Apprenticeship in Surveying Technician based in Adderbury, Oxfordshire. The fixed-term contract spans 2 years with a further EPA period, starting salary £20,966.40. You will train with our Gloucester College provider at Cheltenham College, gaining a Level 3 qualification.

You will work alongside experienced surveyors in our Property Services team, learning surveying, inspection, and client-focused service while supported throughout the programme.

Qualifications

  • Five GCSEs graded 4-9 or above, including Maths and English.
  • Interest in construction, surveying and property maintenance.
  • Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Hold or be working towards a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on surveying experience in the Oxfordshire/Cherwell area.
  • Develop skills in property inspection, project support, health and safety and customer service.
  • Learn from experienced surveyors within the Property Services team.
  • Complete training leading to a Level 3 Technical Qualification with support from Sanctuary.

Apprentice – Surveying Technician Level 3

Fixed term contract for 2 years practical and 3 months EPA

Starting salary year 1: £20,966.40

Are you looking for your next step or change in career? Our Apprenticeship programme gives you hands-on experience, all whilst working towards a qualification in partnership with our Gloucester College training provider at Cheltenham College.

Over the course of the programme, you will work alongside and learn from experienced Surveyors within our Property Services team. You will receive high-quality training leading to a Level 3 Technical Qualification, nationally recognised. All of this will be supported by the team around you, ensuring you get the most out of your apprenticeship!

What will you do?

You will work within the Oxfordshire/Cherwell area region, gaining hands-on experience in surveying and technical services, while developing key skills in property inspection, project support, health and safety, and customer service to build a successful career in the industry.

What skills and abilities do I need to have?

On top of this, practical skills we are looking for are:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4-9 or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Hold or be working towards a full valid UK driving licence
