Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking Apprentice Support Workers who can work flexibly, have a positive outlook and a willingness to learn. You’ll support people with a wide range of activities and opportunities, including healthy eating, creative arts, gardening, personal development, fitness, and more, while earning and learning with college support.

This fixed-term post is for 2 years, 30 hours per week and leads to a Level 2 Award.

Qualifications

• Ability to converse with customers; spoken English essential.

Responsibilities

• Support people with a wide range of activities and opportunities.
• Assist with healthy eating and cookery activities.
• Engage in creative arts such as woodwork, pottery, and music making.
• Support gardening and horticulture activities.

• Promote fitness and health initiatives.
• Provide intensive interaction and sensory support.
• Support work skills development including volunteering.
