Job summary

Manor Green School in Maidenhead is seeking an Apprentice SSA to support students and assist with classroom learning. You will work closely with the class teacher to enable independent progress and help prepare resources for planned activities.

You will be supported in the workplace and receive training and materials. Regular on-site meetings with your apprenticeship tutor will help you successfully complete the apprenticeship and potentially transition to a permanent role.

Job description

As an Apprentice SSA you will work with theclassroom teacher to support students' independent learning and progress inaccordance with the national curriculum and with behaviour managementstrategies. You will help prepare resources and the classroom for plannedactivities. You will work as part of a team to support the teacher.

At the end of your contract, if you haveperformed well on your apprenticeship, you should be in a good position to beconsidered for a permanent role.
