This two-year apprenticeship blends hands-on work with specialist training to prepare you for registration as an SMT.

Successful candidates will have a strong GCSE profile including Maths, English, Chemistry and Biology, with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• GCSEs required including Maths, English, Chemistry and Biology.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing pharmaceutical services within the Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit.
• Support the Science and Manufacturing Technician Level 3 training programme.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe drug preparation.
• Attend study days weekly and work towards registration as SMT.
