Job summary

I&F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Brighton. You will support safe and lawful medicine supply, work with pharmacists and the healthcare team, and progress toward becoming a registered Pharmacy Technician.

The role offers blended training through a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, with salary earning during the programme and potential full-time employment on completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English are desirable but not essential.
• Applicants may be offered Maths/English tests if lacking Level 2 equivalents.
• Interest in pharmacy and healthcare with good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage, order, receive and supply medicines safely and accurately.
• Provide patient advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines.
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations, stock control and governance.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy support staff as progress is made.
• Assist with training and respond to feedback to maintain standards.

BN2 4LW We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
• Providing person‑centred advice to patients on prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
• Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback

Apprenticeship & qualification:

• Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A‑level)
• On successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Training delivered through a blended learning approach alongside your job
