Job summary

A permanent full-time Apprentice Retail Supervisor position for our Leigh shop. You will work 5 days from 7 each week, delivering warm customer service, locating items, handling tills, and supporting stock and shop upkeep.

As an apprentice you’ll follow a Level 3 Customer Services Specialist apprenticeship, with regular trainer sessions either remotely or at the workplace, and you’ll learn on the job while getting paid and enjoying holiday leave.

Qualifications

• It is an apprenticeship role with a Level 3 Customer Services Specialist apprenticeship standard.
• You’ll complete apprenticeship tasks and attend regular trainer sessions, remotely or onsite.
• You can start an apprenticeship with or without recent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly smile and greet them warmly.
• Help customers locate products and assist with finding items.
• Provide fast, friendly till service and assist with packing and a polite goodbye.
• Handle stock and deliveries, place products on shelves and in freezers.
• Keep shop clean and tidy as part of the team’s daily/weekly routines.
• Open and close the shop, manage cash, place orders, and support the manager.
