Job summary

SUPERDRUG is hiring an Apprentice Sales Assistant in Cambridge. You will serve customers with a smile, share Star Buys, and ensure the store looks its best and is fully stocked. You’ll contribute to achieving store targets in a fast-paced environment.

Training occurs in-store for 12 months, followed by a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship; applicants must be new to retail, not in education, and eligible to work in the UK. 39 hours per week with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C (or equivalent).
• Not currently in any education and available for full-time shifts.
• Brand new to retail; eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a friendly smile and great service.
• Keep the store well-presented and fully stocked.
• Help the team to hit store targets and contribute to sales.
• In-store training over the first 12 months leading to Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you'll be right at the heart of the action-serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You'll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It's a hands-on, fast-paced role that's never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we'll give you everything you need to grow-with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

What you'll bring to the role:

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4's for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
